§ 17-9.1-33 - Age.

SECTION 17-9.1-33

   § 17-9.1-33  Age. – (a) Every person who has reached the age of eighteen (18) years or who isseventeen (17) years of age and will be eighteen (18) years of age by the dateof the next election, and is otherwise qualified to register may do so for thatelection.

   (b) A person who is otherwise qualified to register and is atleast sixteen (16) years of age, but will not be eighteen (18) years of age bythe date of the next election, may preregister upon satisfactory proof of ageand shall be automatically registered upon reaching eighteen (18) years of age.
