SECTION 17-9.1-5.1

   § 17-9.1-5.1  Statewide registrationagents. – The state board of elections shall appoint a sufficient number of agents whoshall serve throughout the year to perform the duties assigned to them by§ 17-7-5 and any other duties that may be assigned them by the board. Eachregistrar who performs his or her duties faithfully and completely, and whoattends an annual training session which includes a presentation on changes tothe election laws during the previous year, shall be automatically reappointedas a registration agent.
