§ 18-7-21 - Termination of custodianship. - Rhode Island Statutes

SECTION 18-7-21

   § 18-7-21  Termination of custodianship.– The custodian shall transfer, in an appropriate manner, the custodial propertyto the minor or to the minor's estate upon the earlier of:

   (1) The minor's attainment of twenty-one (21) years of agewith respect to custodial property transferred under § 18-7-5 or 18-7-6;

   (2) The minor's attainment of eighteen (18) years of age withrespect to custodial property transferred under § 18-7-7 or 18-7-8; or

   (3) The minor's death.
