SECTION 19-14.8-4

   § 19-14.8-4  Registration required. –(a) Except as otherwise provided in subsection (b) of this section, a providermay not provide debt-management services to an individual who it reasonablyshould know resides in this state at the time it agrees to provide theservices, unless the provider is registered under this chapter.

   (b) If a provider is registered under this chapter,subsection (a) of this section does not apply to an employee or agent of theprovider.

   (c) The director shall maintain and publicize a list of thenames of all registered providers.
