SECTION 19-14-21

   § 19-14-21  Advertising andmisrepresentations. – (a) No licensee or other person shall advertise, print, display, publish,distribute, telecast, or broadcast or cause or permit to be advertised,printed, displayed, published, distributed, telecast, or broadcast in anymanner whatsoever any false, misleading, or deceptive statement orrepresentation with regard to the rates, terms or conditions for licensedactivities. The director or the director's designee may order any licensee orother person to desist from any conduct which he or she shall find to be aviolation of the foregoing provisions.

   (b) The director or the director's designee may require thatrates of interest or charges, if stated by a licensee, be stated fully andclearly in any manner the director or the director's designee may deemnecessary to prevent misunderstanding of the rates or charges by prospectivecustomers.

   (c) The licensee shall disclose in any written or oraladvertisements or representation disseminated primarily in this state, the typeof license held.
