§ 19-26-17 Exercise of powers by boardsand bureaus. – Whenever by law the powers, conferred in this chapter upon city or towncouncils, have been conferred upon boards or bureaus of police commissioners inany city or town, those powers shall continue to be exercised by the boards orbureaus of police commissioners.
