SECTION 19-26-19

   § 19-26-19  Safekeeping of pledges. –Every pawnbroker, licensed and operating under the provisions of this chapter,shall provide a place for the safekeeping of the pledges received by him orher, and this provision shall not be construed to be in reduction of anyobligation which rests upon the pawnbroker to properly care for the articlespledged. For every violation of this section the pawnbroker shall be fined onehundred dollars ($100).
