SECTION 19-28.1-15

   § 19-28.1-15  Waivers void. – A condition, stipulation or provision requiring a franchisee to waivecompliance with or relieving a person of a duty of liability imposed by or aright provided by this act or a rule or order under this act is void. Anacknowledgement provision, disclaimer or integration clause or a provisionhaving a similar effect in a franchise agreement does not negate or act toremove from judicial review any statement, misrepresentations or action thatwould violate this act or a rule or order under this act. This section shallnot affect the settlement of disputes, claims or civil lawsuits arising orbrought under this act.
