SECTION 19-7-10

   § 19-7-10  Federally charteredinstitutions. – To the extent it is empowered to do so, this state authorizes banks organizedunder the laws of the United States that have a main office in Rhode Island tomerge or consolidate with and to acquire assets and assume liabilities ofout-of-state banks and to have assets and liabilities assumed by out-of-statebanks.
