   § 19-7-11  Examination of mergers andacquisitions. – The director or the director's designee may make or cause to be made anexamination of each bank in order to fulfill the requirements of this chapter.The total cost of these examinations shall be borne by the bank so examined andshall be governed by the same terms and conditions as the examinations ofregulated institutions. In lieu of this examination, the director or thedirector's designee may accept the report of an examination made by theequivalent supervisory official of another state, pursuant to the laws of thatstate.
