SECTION 2-20-3

   § 2-20-3  Surveyor for Providence –Election – Term. – There is a surveyor of lumber for the city of Providence, who is well skilledin the surveying and measurement of lumber. The surveyor shall be elected inthe month of February annually, by the city council of the city, and shall holdhis or her office for one year and until a successor is chosen or unless thesurveyor is removed sooner.
