SECTION 2-4-11

   § 2-4-11  Consultation with municipalrepresentatives. – The directors may invite the legislative body of any municipality within thedistrict to designate a representative to serve as an associate director toadvise and consult with them on all questions of programs and policy which mayaffect the property, water supply or other interest of the municipality. Theboard of directors may appoint, as they deem necessary, advisory committees toassure the availability of appropriate channels of communications to the boardof directors, to persons affected by district operations, and to local,federal, state, regional and interstate special-purpose districts and agenciesresponsible for community planning, conservation commissions, zoning orresource development activities. The district shall keep the advisorycommittees informed of its work, and the advisory committees shall submitrecommendations from time to time to the board of directors.
