SECTION 2-5-2

   § 2-5-2  Agency to administer state plan.– In order to carry out the purposes of the soil conservation and domesticallotment act enacted by the congress of the United States, the Rhode Islanddepartment of environmental management, referred to as the department, isdesignated as the agency of the state of Rhode Island to administer any stateplan authorized by this chapter which shall be approved by the secretary ofagriculture of the United States, referred to as the secretary of agriculture,for the state of Rhode Island pursuant to the provisions of the soilconservation and domestic allotment act.
