§ 20-1-19 - Powers of enforcement of officers in waters between states.

SECTION 20-1-19

   § 20-1-19  Powers of enforcement ofofficers in waters between states. – If and when the states of New York and Connecticut and the commonwealth ofMassachusetts, or any of them, shall enact similar laws for the arrest andpunishment for violations of the conservation or fish laws of this state or thestate so enacting the similar law, committed or attempted to be committed byany person or persons fishing in waters lying between the states, any wildlifeprotector, fish warden, or other person of either state who is authorized tomake arrests for violations of the conservation or fish laws of that stateshall have power and authority to make arrest on any part of the waters betweenthe states or the shores thereof and to take any person or persons so arrestedfor trial to the state in which the violation was committed and there toprosecute the person or persons according to the laws of that state.
