   § 21-24-7  Appropriations anddisbursements. – The general assembly shall annually appropriate any sums that it may deemnecessary to carry out the provisions of this chapter and the state controlleris authorized and directed to draw his or her orders upon the general treasurerfor the payment of the sum, or so much of it as may be required, upon receiptby him or her of proper vouchers approved by the director of health.
