SECTION 21-28.2-6

   § 21-28.2-6  No application for hearing orjury trial. – When no application is made for a hearing before the court or a jury trial byor on behalf of the alleged narcotic addict, the court shall, if satisfied thatthe person is a narcotic addict, immediately issue an order certifying theperson to the care and custody of the department for the indefinite period asprovided in § 21-28.2-8, provided that facilities are available.
