   § 21-28.2-9  Private session – Recordsof proceedings. – Unless the alleged narcotic addict requests, all proceedings under this chaptershall be private and shall be conducted in closed sessions. The petition, thereport of the medical examination, the order directing a hearing before thecourt or a jury trial, if one is issued, the decision of the court, and theorder of certification shall be filed in the office of the clerk of the courtin which the proceedings under this chapter were had, and copies shall bepresented to the department at the time of commitment of the narcotic addict tothe department. The court shall order all these filed papers in the clerk'soffice and all other papers in the proceeding sealed, and exhibited only to theparties to the proceedings, or someone properly interested, upon order of thecourt.
