SECTION 21-28-2.09

   § 21-28-2.09  Exemption of compoundscontaining counteragents. – Nothing in this chapter shall apply to any compound, mixture, or preparationcontaining any depressant or stimulant drug in schedule II or in subsection (a)of schedule III or in schedule IV or V if: (1) the compound, mixture, orpreparation contains one or more active medicinal ingredients not having adepressant or stimulant effect on the central nervous system, and (2) theseingredients are included in the compound, mixture or preparation in suchcombinations, quantity, proportion, or concentration as to vitiate thepotential for abuse of the drugs which do have a depressant or stimulant effecton the central nervous system.
