SECTION 22-10-11

   § 22-10-11  Penalty for violations ofchapter. – (a) Administrative penalty. Any person, corporation, association, orlobbyist who is found to have intentionally violated any provision of thischapter shall be subject to an administrative penalty not to exceed twothousand dollars ($2,000) per violation which may be imposed by the secretaryof state after a hearing complying with the procedures set forth in §22-10-10(7).

   (b) Criminal penalty. Any person, corporation, orassociation that shall willfully fail to file reports when due or shall fail tocomply with any provision of this chapter shall, upon conviction for thatoffense, be fined not less than five hundred dollars ($500) nor more than tenthousand dollars ($10,000). Any person employed as a lobbyist or agent whoshall willfully fail to file reports when due or shall otherwise fail to complywith any provision of this chapter shall be fined not less than five hundreddollars ($500) nor more than two thousand dollars ($2,000), and shall bedebarred from acting in the capacity of a lobbyist for the period of three (3)years from the date of conviction.
