SECTION 22-2-4

   § 22-2-4  Reference to senator orrepresentative from city or town. – Wherever in the general laws or in any public law reference is made to asenator or representative from any city or town, or to the election of asenator or representative from any city or town, the reference shall mean andbe deemed to refer to a senator or representative from a senatorial orrepresentative district, or the election of a senator or representative from asenatorial or representative district, as the context may require.
