SECTION 22-3-15

   § 22-3-15  Substitution of incumbents forabsentees on lists. – In case any person whose name appears upon either of the lists made by thesecretary of state as senator or representative from any senatorial district orrepresentative district, by virtue of any certificate of election returned tothe office of or received by the secretary of state, shall not be present atthe time of calling the roll of members as provided below in this chapter, thelist bearing the name of that person shall be further corrected, by thesecretary of state in the senate and by the reading clerk in the house ofrepresentatives, by substituting for the person's name the name of the personthen holding that office.
