   § 22-3-18  Electronic voting. – For the purpose of receiving and recording the vote of members of the generalassembly pursuant to the rules of the senate and the house of representatives,the joint committee on legislative services shall provide for the senate andhouse of representatives an electronic device or devices for the use by themembers of the general assembly in casting and recording votes.
