SECTION 22-3-2.1

   § 22-3-2.1  Powers of president. – Commencing in 2003, and after this, the powers currently held by the majorityleader of the senate shall be transferred to the president of the senate. Atthat time, statutory references to the majority leader of the senate shall beamended and construed to mean a reference to the president of the senate.
