SECTION 22-7.4-3

   § 22-7.4-3  Duties. – (a) It shall be the duty of this joint committee to name all new buildings,bridges, edifices and other state constructions.

   (b) To this end, the joint committee shall consult andcounsel with the several agencies of the state and municipal government and anyagencies of federal government and others that are now or may become concernedwith, or responsible for the naming of any or all new buildings, bridges,edifices, and other state constructions.

   (c) The joint committee is authorized to assist and cooperatewith those state and other agencies concerned with the naming of any or all newbuildings, bridges, edifices, and other state constructions.
