   § 23-1.1-6  Appropriations –Disbursement. – The general assembly shall annually appropriate sums that are necessary tocarry out the provisions of this chapter. The state controller is authorizedand directed to draw his or her orders on the general treasurer for the paymentof the sums so appropriated or so much of the sums as may from time to time berequired upon receipt by him or her of proper vouchers approved by the chief ofthe division of occupational health, and by the director.
