SECTION 23-1.11-7

   § 23-1.11-7  Employer requirement. –Every employer is required to: (1) document annually in the exposure controlplan consideration and implementation of appropriate commercially available andsafer medical devices designed to eliminate or minimize occupational exposureto blood-borne pathogens; (2) solicit input from nonmanagerial employeesresponsible for direct patient care who are potentially exposed to injuriesfrom contaminated sharps in the identification, evaluation, and selection ofeffective work practice controls and shall document the solicitation in theexposure control plan.
