SECTION 23-1-21

   § 23-1-21  Immediate compliance order.– Whenever the director determines that there exists a violation of any law,rule, or regulation within the jurisdiction of the director which requiresimmediate action to protect the health, welfare, or safety of the public or anymember of the public, the director may, without prior notice of violation orhearing, issue an immediate compliance order stating the existence of theviolation and the action he or she deems necessary. The compliance order shallbecome effective immediately upon service or within the time specified by thedirector in the order. No request for a hearing on an immediate complianceorder may be made.
