SECTION 23-1-5.4

   § 23-1-5.4  Access to information. –(a) The office of private well water contamination shall have access to thefollowing information:

   (1) The names of all persons who have registered complaintsconcerning private well water contamination and all information concerningtheir complaints; and

   (2) All current records in the department of health and thedepartment of environmental management pertaining to private well watercontamination.

   (b) The office of private well water contamination shall havethe authority to use this information in whatever ways are necessary to carryout the duties enumerated in § 23-1-5.3.

   (c) The department of environmental management, thedepartment of health, and all other state agencies shall assist the office ofprivate well water contamination in the performance of these duties.
