   § 23-11-12  Refusal to submit toexamination. – Any person refusing to permit the department of health to examine him or her,as provided in § 23-11-11, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and uponconviction shall be punished by a fine of fifty dollars ($50.00), or byimprisonment for thirty (30) days, or by both fine and imprisonment.
