SECTION 23-13-8

   § 23-13-8  Violations pertaining toophthalmia neonatorum. – The failure of any person mentioned in §§ 23-13-4 – 23-13-7 toreport any and all cases of ophthalmia neonatorum, as directed in this chapter,or the failure or refusal of any person or institution mentioned in§§23-13-4 – 23-13-7, to obey any rule or regulation adopted bythe department of health under this chapter, shall constitute a misdemeanor,and upon conviction, shall be fined not less than ten dollars ($10.00) nor morethan one hundred dollars ($100), or imprisoned for not less than ten (10) daysnor more than six (6) months, or both.
