SECTION 23-17.19-2

   § 23-17.19-2  Definitions. – The following words and phrases when used in this chapter have the meaningsgiven to them in this section unless the content clearly indicates otherwise:

   (1) "Department" means the department of health;

   (2) "Employee" means an individual employed, whetherdirectly, by the contract with another entity or as an independent contractor,by a long-term care nursing facility on a part-time or full-time basis;

   (3) "Long-term care facility or facility" means a health carefacility as defined in chapter 17 of this title, which provides long-termhealth care.
