   § 23-17.2-3  Duties of the director. –The department of health shall enforce the provisions of this chapter and thedirector of the department shall design and issue a log or journal to bemaintained by and in each nursing or personal care home which shall provide forthe information required by this chapter. The director, or the director's agentor designee not regularly engaged in nursing or personal care home visitationshall examine, inspect, and certify the contents of the log or journalbiannually. A separate section of the log or journal shall contain the fullname, both signed and printed, of the director, the director's agent ordesignee and the date and time the log or journal was certified.
