SECTION 23-17.6-2

   § 23-17.6-2  "Advanced emergency medicaltechnicians" defined. – For the purposes of this chapter, "advanced emergency medical technician" meanspersonnel who have been specially trained in emergency cardiac and non-cardiaccare in an advanced emergency medical technician course approved by theambulance service coordinating board. The course shall include, but not belimited to, didactic and clinical experience in a hospital coronary care unitand emergency rescue vehicle and training in cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
