SECTION 23-17-10.4

   § 23-17-10.4  Rehabilitation special careunit and sub-acute special care unit disclosure by facilities. – Any nursing facility which offers to provide or provides care for patients orresidents by means of a rehabilitation special care unit or sub-acute specialcare unit shall be required to disclose the form of care or treatment provided,in addition to that care and treatment required by the rules and regulationsfor the licensing of nursing facilities. That disclosure shall be made to thelicensing agency and to any person seeking placement in a rehabilitationspecial care unit or sub-acute special care unit of a nursing facility. Thelicensing agency shall develop a standard disclosure form and shall review theinformation provided on the disclosure form by the nursing facility to verifythe accuracy of the information provided on it. Any significant changes in theinformation provided by the nursing facility will be reported to the licensingagency at the time the changes are made.
