   § 23-19.12-18  Delegation of authority toconduct inspections. – The department of environmental management may enter into a cooperativeagreement with the department of health for the department of health to conductinspections of facilities where regulated medical waste is generated. Thedepartment of environmental management shall adequately compensate thedepartment of health for conducting these inspections and for undertaking theadministrative tasks associated with conducting these inspections.
