SECTION 23-19.12-4

   § 23-19.12-4  Powers and duties of thedirector. – The director shall under the provisions of this chapter have all powersnecessary to promulgate any rules, regulations, procedures, and standards thatmay be necessary to ensure proper, adequate, and sound management of regulatedmedical waste and to protect the public health and the environment from theeffects of improper management of regulated medical waste.
