   § 23-19.14-19  Liberal construction –Severability. – The provisions of this chapter shall be construed liberally to effectuate itspurposes. If any provision of this chapter or of any rule, regulation, ordetermination made under this chapter, or the application thereof to anyperson, agency, or circumstances, is held invalid by a court of competentjurisdiction, the remainder of the chapter, rule, regulation, or determinationand the application of the provisions to other persons, agencies orcircumstances shall not be affected thereby. The invalidity of any section orsections or parts of any section or sections of this chapter shall not affectthe validity of the remainder of the chapter.
