§ 23-21-1 - Definitions. - Rhode Island Statutes

SECTION 23-21-1

   § 23-21-1  Definitions. – As used in this chapter, the following terms shall, where the context permits,be construed as follows:

   (1) "Department" means the department of health.

   (2) "Director" means the director of health or his or herduly appointed agents.

   (3) "Person" means any individual, firm, copartnership,association, or private or municipal corporation.

   (4) "Recreation facility or use" includes, but is not limitedto, hotels, motels, motor courts or inns, tourist cabin establishments, campingareas, amusement places, bathing beaches, mobile recreational vehiclefacilities, and parks.
