   § 23-22.5-7  Appointment of councilmembers. – In the month of February of each year, the governor shall appoint a member ormembers of the recreational safety council other than the representatives ofthe state to hold office until the first day of March in the third year afterthat appointment and until his, her, or their respective successor orsuccessors are appointed and qualified to succeed the member or members whoseterm shall next expire.
