SECTION 23-24.5-25

   § 23-24.5-25  Misrepresentation of asbestoslicensure or certification. – (a) No person or entity shall make oral or written representations of licensureas an asbestos contractor or asbestos abatement site supervisor or asbestosabatement worker unless they possess a currently valid license for the activitywhich has been issued by the director pursuant to either § 23-24.5-12 orany rules or regulations promulgated pursuant to the authority conferred bythis chapter.

   (b) No person or entity shall make oral or writtenrepresentation of certification as an asbestos analytical laboratory, asbestosconsultant or asbestos abatement project monitor unless they possess acurrently valid certificate for the activity which has been issued by thedirector pursuant to either §§ 23-24.5-6(j) or 23-24.5-14(a) or anyrules or regulations promulgated pursuant to the authority conferred by thischapter.

   (c) No person or entity certified pursuant to either§§ 23-24.5-6(j) or 23-24.5-14(a) or any rules or regulationspromulgated pursuant to the authority conferred by this chapter shall make oralor written representations of certification to perform any service which is notspecifically identified on their currently valid certificate.
