SECTION 23-24.9-10.1

   § 23-24.9-10.1  Resource recoverycorporation option. – The department and the Rhode Island resource recovery corporation shallestablish a statewide network for the collection of mercury-added products whenthe household consumer is finished with them. Manufacturers, except motorvehicle manufacturers subject to the provisions of subdivision23-24.9(10)(b)(2) of mercury-added products may satisfy their obligations, asset forth in subsection 23-24.9-10(a), by entering into a written agreementwith those agencies to support the statewide program including, but not limitedto, advertisement, education and/or funding through a system established inregulation.
