   § 23-24.9-16  Violations. – Effective July 1, 2005, a violation of any of the provisions of this law or anyrule or regulation promulgated pursuant thereto shall be punishable, in thecase of a first violation, by a civil penalty not to exceed one thousanddollars ($1,000). In the case of a second and any further violations, theliability shall be for a civil penalty not to exceed five thousand dollars($5,000) for each violation.
