SECTION 23-24.9-9.4

   § 23-24.9-9.4  Exemptions. – The following categories of dental offices are exempt from the requirement toinstall an amalgam separator; provided, that they do not place or removeamalgam:

   (a) Orthodontists;

   (b) Periodontists;

   (c) Endodontists;

   (d) Oral and maxillofacial surgeons; and

   (e) A dental office that is scheduled to no longer be used asa dental office after January 1, 2008.
