§ 23-26-23 - Acceptance of inspection stamps of other states. - Rhode Island Statutes

SECTION 23-26-23

   § 23-26-23  Acceptance of inspection stampsof other states. – Inspection stamps of the same value issued by another state shall be acceptedin this state in lieu of the stamps required by this chapter, when attached toan article of bedding, before shipment from the other state, upon satisfactoryproof to the director that the requirements in the other state as to qualityand inspection of manufactured articles and materials are substantially equalto the requirements of this state; provided, that the stamps of this state arelikewise accepted in the other state when attached to articles or materialsmanufactured in this state.
