SECTION 23-27.3-100.1.5.3

   § 23-27.3-100.1.5.3  State rehabilitationbuilding and fire code for existing buildings and structures. – The state building code standards committee has the authority to adopt, amend,and repeal the building code elements of the rehabilitation building and firecode for existing buildings and structures and to promulgate and administer thebuilding code elements of the rehabilitation building and fire code forexisting buildings and structures, which supercedes for existing buildings andstructures other codes and regulations adopted by the building code standardscommittee, unless the provisions of other codes and regulations are notinconsistent with the provisions of the rehabilitation building and fire codefor existing buildings and structures.
