SECTION 23-27.3-103.0

   § 23-27.3-103.0  Installation of serviceequipment. – When the installation, extension, alteration, or repair of an elevator, movingstairway, mechanical equipment, refrigeration, air conditioning or ventilationapparatus, plumbing, gas piping, electric wiring, heating system, or any otherequipment is specifically controlled by the provisions of the code or theapproved rules and regulations, it shall be unlawful to use the equipment untila certificate of approval has been issued therefore by the building official orother municipal or state agency having jurisdiction.
