   § 23-27.3-108.1  Local building official– Enforcement duties. – The building official shall enforce all the provisions of this code and anyother applicable state statutes, rules, and regulations, or municipalordinances and act on any question relative to the mode or manner ofconstruction, and the materials to be used in the construction, reconstruction,alteration, repair, demolition, removal, installation of equipment, and thelocation, use, occupancy, and maintenance of all buildings and structures,including any building or structure owned by any authority, except as mayotherwise be specifically provided for by statutory requirements or as providedin this code.
