   § 23-27.3-111.2  Inspection. – The building official shall make all required inspections as specified in theprovisions of this code and the building official shall conduct the inspectionsfrom time to time during and upon completion of the work for which the buildingofficial has issued a permit; and the building official shall maintain a recordof all the examinations and inspections and of all violations of this code. Inconjunction with specific construction projects, the building official maydesignate specific inspection points in the course of construction whichrequire the contractor or builder to give the building official twenty-four(24) hours notice prior to the time when the inspections are required to beperformed. The building official shall make the inspection within forty-eight(48) hours after the notification.
