SECTION 23-27.3-115.5

   § 23-27.3-115.5  Dismissal of contractor orsubcontractor. – Should an owner dismiss either a contractor or subcontractor for any reason:

   (1) Upon hiring a new contractor or subcontractor, the ownershall, at no additional fee, file an application for an amended permit whichshall include the names, addresses and any licenses or registrations requiredof the new contractor or subcontractor; as well as any changes needed tocomplete the work in accordance with the approved plans and specifications orto remedy any outstanding code violations; and

   (2) Upon receipt of an application for an amended permit thebuilding officials shall conduct an inspection to determine the extent of thework done to date and whether any corrective work is necessary to complete theproject in accordance with the approved plans and specifications or to remedyany code violations.
