SECTION 23-27.3-116.5

   § 23-27.3-116.5  Public utilities, wires,poles, trees, and shrubs. – During the course of moving, demolishing, or shoring, of any building orstructure no electrical light, trolley, telephone, or telegraph wires or polesshall be removed, moved, or disturbed without the written consent of themunicipal authority and no tree or shrub shall be cut or disturbed except withthe written consent of the owners of the premises upon which the tree or shrubstands, and no tree or shrub located on or over any part of a public street orhighway, whether accepted or not shall be cut or disturbed, excepted by writtenconsent of the municipal authority, and of the owners of the premises abuttingon the part of the street or highway in which the tree or shrub stands.
